- Hand wash only, in water at 30 °C maximum, with a detergent made for wool and silk
- Water temperature must stay the same between washing and rinsing, or the wool can felt
- Do not rub or wring; press the water out and dry flat, away from direct sun and heat
- Not suitable for the tumble dryer
- The ties must be tied loosely, and the hat checked so it does not slip over the baby's face
