- Machine wash at 30 °C with the spin limited to 400 rpm, mild detergent, no bleach or fabric softener, and no tumble drying — natural drying only
- Before 4 months the fabric has to be pulled up to the baby's ears each time, to support the head
- The spare tail of fabric should be folded back over the rings to avoid pinched fingers during use
