- External use only; the herb and salt blend goes on the placenta alone, never on the baby or on the cord at the baby's end
- The placenta has to be re-powdered with herbs and salt and the cloths changed as often as needed until it separates naturally, stated as 3 to 8 days
- Cloths and towels need soaking and washing at 30°C maximum to lift blood traces before they can be washed hotter and returned to everyday use
- The blend is not to be drunk as an internal tea; the maker notes some of the plants can stop milk supply
- Yoni steam use is stated as being from the fifth day postpartum and after speaking to a midwife
- The blend contains sage and cinnamon; the maker does not publish the full plant list and asks buyers with a question about a specific plant to email
